Mastering Light: The Power of Flash/Speedlight in Photography (7 hours course in tow days)
- part 1 : Friday 27/06/2025 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm
- part 2 : Saturday 28/06/2025 6.00pm to 9.30pm
Many photographers struggle with flash because they’re not sure how to control it. Unlike natural light, which changes gradually throughout the day, flash happens in an instant. If you don’t understand how it works, it can feel like you’re playing a guessing game with every shot.
It can feel flat or too bright, too harsh, too unpredictable. Many beginners, and even experienced shooters, shy away from it, opting instead for the easy and comfortable way out, natural light because it feels safer and more forgiving.
But here’s the secret: once you understand flash, it becomes one of the most powerful creative tools you can wield. Flash isn’t just for dimly lit rooms or capturing action in the dark—it’s a way to shape light, to add drama, to craft beauty in any environment. Whether you’re shooting portraits, landscapes, architecture, events, or even products, knowing how to harness flash can take your photography to an entirely new level.
At Digital Photo Academy, we believe that hands-on, in-person training is the fastest and most effective way to master photography. This immersive 8 hours, over two-day/night workshop will take you from hesitant to confident, giving you the skills to create stunning images anywhere, anytime.
If you’re ready to overcome your fear of flash and start creating well lit beautiful images, this is your opportunity. Our Flash Weekend Workshop is designed for photographers who want hands-on experience in both an indoor as well as outdoor setting with expert guidance every step of the way.
